Color Options

Color Options

These area allows you to change the colors for the currently selected layer. There are three ways you can select a color:

1. Click the color box to get your color.
2. Double Click the color box to open the standard color dialog.
3. Shift-Click the color box to open up a dialog that will allow you to enter the HTML color values for the color you want.
4. CTRL-Click will allow you to select a color from your screen using an eye dropper cursor.

For "tube" style buttons set the gradient style to Horizontal Center or Vertical Center And adjust the values given. The Highlight Position is the percentage down from the top that you want the glare to appear. Adjust the Luminosity to either brighten or darken the highlight position.

To get a glass looking button set the Cap to use the Top/Bottom gradient, then select a 15% glass refraction. Now for the colors pick a darker shade for the Gradient From color box and pick a lighter shade from the Gradient To color box. So your button will go from dark green to light green. Pick the Aqua theme for starters from the list! Want a plastic looking button now? Swap the colors! Click the button between the color boxes that has the left and right arrows. Presto!

1Color Themes

You can save/retrieve your favorite colors but selecting one from this dropdown list. If you want to add new theme to the list click the red checkbox button to the right and give it a name when the prompt appears. To remove a theme click the cancel, the black X, button.

2Swap Colors

Swaps the color on the left with the one on the right.

3Color Boxes

Click on the colors you want to use for your button.

4Copy Color

Copy Color
Copies the color from the right side to the left side. If you want a solid color button you need to have both colors set to the same value. This button will allow you to easily set them to be the same.

5Fill Style

There are many gradient styles that you can select from to fill your button.

6Transparency Level

Transparency Level
Adjust how transparent you want the selected layer to appear. 255 means that it is a solid layer, the closer to 0 you make it the more transparent the layer will appear.

7Copy Color

Copy Color
Copies the color from the left side to the right side. If you want a solid color button you need to have both colors set to the same value. This button will allow you to easily set them to be the same.

8Theme Management

Theme Management
After you have a set of colors you like you can click the red checkmark to save the color set as a theme. Click the black X to delete the currently selected theme if you no longer want it to appear in the list.
