Base Settings

Base Settings

The base of your button is always larger than your cap or inset. You can control how far they are set in from the base edges by setting the appropriate Margin settings.

1Show/Hide Base

Show/Hide Base
Either hides/shows the base layer. When not displayed the Cap becomes the button base and is stretched to the size the button is set to.

2Base Shape

Base Shape
The base shape is independent of the cap shape and can be selected here. The Standard shape is how you create your square/rectangle buttons as well as your rounded rectangle and circle/ellipse buttons. To adjust the curvature of the corners of this shape adjust the Base Corners setting. Setting to 0 creates corners and setting it greater than zero rounds the corners. The Base Corners setting is also used to adjust the corners on the dog earred.

Adjust this from 0 to 100 to set the roundness of your corners or size of your dog earred corners.

4Outline Color

Outline Color
Color to use for outline if drawn.

5Outline

Outline
Draws an outline around the base layer if checked.

6Glass Reflection Depth

Glass Reflection Depth
How far down the button do you want the reflection to appear.

7Outline Thickness

8Use Vista Style Glass Settings

Use Vista Style Glass Settings
Uses a single layer of glass effect over the top of the layer. Otherwise it uses the default setting in which there is a highlight at the top and a darker swatch at the bottom.
